The complex joint formed by the humerus, scapula, and clavicle, including the glenohumeral, acromioclavicular, and sternoclavicular articulations. Shoulder injuries are among the most common upper extremity workers' compensation claims and include rotator cuff tears, labral tears, impingement, and dislocations rated under AMA Guides Chapter 16.
