1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the IMEPro website and services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by IMEPro, Inc..
2. Description of Service
IMEPro provides a medical-legal evaluation platform connecting workers' compensation physicians and attorneys. The Service includes a physician directory, case management tools, document analysis, and report generation. The directory information is sourced from the California Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) and the National Provider Identifier (NPI) Registry and is provided for informational purposes only.
3. User Accounts
Certain features require account registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current information and promptly update it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without written permission
- Transmit malware, spam, or any harmful content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use the Service to store or transmit protected health information (PHI) outside of authorized workflows
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are the property of IMEPro, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Physician directory data is derived from public government sources and enriched with publicly available information.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Directory listings and physician information are provided for reference only and should be independently verified.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IMEPro, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for access to the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. HIPAA Compliance
If you use the Service to store, transmit, or process protected health information (PHI), you agree to comply with all applicable provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). A separate Business Associate Agreement (BAA) governs the handling of PHI and is available upon request.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
