About Dr. Steven M Wachs
Dr. Steven M. Wachs, DC, QME, CCSP, received his bachelor's degree from the University at Albany in 1984 with honors and graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 1988. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) through the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council, a Qualified Medical Examiner, and an Independent Medical Examiner. In 1991, Dr. Wachs founded Wachs Chiropractic Health Center in Chula Vista, which has grown to include offices in Oceanside, Escondido, and El Centro. He has served many local amateur, professional, and elite athletes, all branches of the military including Navy SEALs and Marines, and local law enforcement. Dr. Wachs has served as a member of the ACA Sports Council Medical Staff at US Olympic Team Trials for Canoe/Kayak at the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center and provided chiropractic services during the 2007 California Wildfire relief efforts.
